Okay, so admittedly, I rarely participate in giveaways that require you to post something on Twitter, Facebook or even your own blog but this one is different. As you probably may have guessed I sort of have this ridiculous love affair with Divergent. I want to share this book with everyone despite me not having written my own review of it yet. And I'll probably end up rereading it before I do write it.

Sunday has quickly become one of my favorite days of the week for this blog because I can watch how quickly my to-read queue on Goodreads gets longer and longer in the best way from visiting all of your sites. (I'm a day early! I've been a day off all week.) In My Mailbox is so kindly hosted by The Story Siren.

I only chose to read books with gorgeous covers this week! Divergent is what I've talked so much about and the review is probably going to be coming in the next day or so when I have some time to sit down and prepare it. The Goddess Test is something I've been meaning to read since I heard of it (my first degree is in Archaeology so anything that touches on Greek or Roman mythology is an instant must-have) and I'm so happy that I can finally dig into it! Wither is a book I saw on a face out at B&N while I was reading Matched there and the cover is so gorgeous that I read the flap and was rather intrigued. I'm reading it now and it's going by pretty quickly, an interesting story. Entwined looks gorgeous. I've heard that's a really sweet rendition of Grimm's The Twelve Dancing Princesses and I love Grimm's, so that was an easy pick, too.

There may be some others that I'll throw on later in the week. (Oh, here's a kitty. So fun to type with a cat on your lap. Type pet pet type pet pet pet.) I'm excited to see what you guys are reading, and so is my kitty! ;)

I feel like a lot of my 'waiting for' posts have either mentioned or touched upon Divergent, mainly because this is a book I've been insanely excited for since sometime last year and having the chance to walk into a bookstore and have it in my hands was fabulous! I can only imagine what it must be like for Miss Veronica Roth, so many many congratulations to her.

There will be a review, but probably not for a few days as I'd like to do maybe a double-review for Uglies & Pretties beforehand.

So since this is a book blog that just happens to be written by yours truly...I'd like to say...

I LOVED DIVERGENT! If I have dreams about faction initiation tonight I won't be surprised.

Anyone else excited? Did you run to the bookstore on your lunch break like I did? (I also picked up The Goddess Test, since it's not available, oddly enough, in my library system.) Let me know - I'm curious! Does that mean I can't be Abnegation...? :)

Not sure if it was apparent enough from my past posts, but I thought it would be fitting to start off my first Waiting on Wednesday with the book release that has me as excited as a new Harry Potter release (RIP, no more HP releases).
